2008 FCA "Ironman" Golf Marathon

Frost, can it be May 19?  That was the question as 24 anxious golfers "chomped at the bit".  "This is my favorite golf outing of the year!"  That was just one of the many comments about the FCA Ironman Golf Marathon.  As the sun burned off the frost, we had a fantastic day of golf, fellowship, good-natured competition and fund-raising.  Assuming all pledges are fulfilled, over $60,000 was raised in this one day event.  These funds will provide Bibles, Sharing The Victory magazines, camp scholarships and other ministry resources.  Thanks so much to all the players for their work on behalf of the athletes and coaches of FCA!

In our Long Drive Contests, Luke Campbell outdrove the crowd on both contested holes, with one drive estimated at 340 yards.  Kim Carlson and Mike McGeath took home honors for Closest To The Pin.

May 18, 2009 is just 11 months away, it's not too early to set aside the date for next year's Ironman Golf Marathon.
